Miracle Records
1960s soul label from Detroit, Michigan.
An early subsidiary of Motown Records intended to release mainstream R&B Soul records. The slogan for Miracle Records was "If it's a Hit, It's a Miracle" had a short life and was ended In 1962 when the label name was changed to Gordy Records to avoid confusion with the Motown group The Miracles.
The initial "Miracle" slogan was revamped into Gordy's "It's What's In The Grooves That Counts"
