[Saturn Records] existed in two different eras and styles, with releases in the 1960s and 1980s.
In 1980 Cletus Anderson of VIP Record Stores in Los Angeles/Long Beach, Ca. purchased the label from it's original owner.

Saturn Records in the 1980's was a sister label of Cletus served as Executive Producer and co-produced many Rappers Rapp Disco Co. Releases & worked hand in hand with RRDC founders Duffy Hooks III & Jerry Hooks Sr. Accordingly some releases can be found on both labels SR & RRDC.
