Golden Sound (Label)

Italian label founded in Rome in 1984 by Gerardo Sparaco, a very important record distributor operating widely in different regions of Italy by the name of Discoteca Internazionale S.r.l. with headquarters in Via Cipriano Facchinetti 9-11, Rome. The birth of this label on one side coincides with the boom of the Italo-Disco and on the other by the need to have a own catalog of popular Italian music and folk genre.
