Mode Records

Short-lived indie jazz label in the late 50s, releasing West Coast jazz.
The planned opening date was July 1, 1957 with approximately 30 distributors lined up. Red Clyde left Bethlehem Records to take the helm at Mode and direct it's A&R activities. Marty Paich was the Musical Director and was responsible for overseeing the music side of the recordings as well as spotting new, fresh talent.
Most Items of the Mode catalog (jazz) are reissued by V.S.O.P. Records

unrelated to the new classical music label Mode.
