Portuguese record company. It distributes Virgin (including Charisma), Mute Records Ltd. and Stiff Records. After losing Virgin Records catalogue that was sold to EMI (Portuguese affiliate: EMI-Valentim De Carvalho, Música Lda., later EMI Music Portugal) in 1992, Edisom suffers a major blow that caused the label to cease operations in 1995.
