Founded in 1937, Plan is an international development organisation operating in 50 countries across Africa, Asia and the Americas to promote and protect the rights of children. The nonprofit organisation is one of the world's largest child-centred community development organisations, with 21 national organisations responsible for raising funds and awareness in their respective countries.
