Terra-Ton GmbH

German record manufacturer and pressing plant from Büderich, near Düsseldorf.
Operated between July 1959 and the end of 1966 (struck-off from the register on 08 March 1967).
Publishers Rolf and Wilhelm Heyne (founders of the l=Heyne Verlag]), and Max Meier-Maletz were major shareholders until 1962. Then Wilhelm A. Müller took over.
The focus was on 7" advertising flexis, but also operating the label Terra-Ton.
It produced and manufactured for Tip-Top, Scala and Delta (31) labels (among others).

Characteristic for the pressings is the stamped Matrix "OHM ZPRV yyyy-z", where
- the Z may appear as 7 or as 2,
- yyyy stands for a 4-digit number (sequential and likely an order or a job number but meaning ultimately unknown),
- z stands for 1 or 2 (likely for the first or second pressing).
