Super Electro Sound Recordings
Founded in 1992 by Steve Turner, who wanted to release records from two of his side projects on Sub Pop. However, Bruce Pavitt wasn't convinced and suggested that Turner starts his own label, with Sub Pop pressing and distributing the albums. In 1993, his girlfriend Caryn Palmier joined the label and Sup Pop only occasionally took over distribution.
