Asphodel (Label)

US label originally from the bay area with strong connections to New York known for Hip Hop turntablism, Illbient beats, electroacoustic noisework. Owned by Mitzi Johnson. Founded and developed in the early 90ies by her together with her then husband Naut Humon. The label went out of business in the late 2000s when they divorced. The New York outpost for several years was run by Erik Gilbert acting as their label manager.
