Bigtop (Label)

US label/record company/publisher founded in New York City in 1958 by Julian and Jean Aberbach as a subsidiary label of Hill & Range Publishing Company. Sometimes credited on labels as "Big Top" or "Big-Top" or "Big Top Records Inc.". See Bigtop Records or Bigtop Records, Inc. for company credits. Hill & Range was eventually sold to Chappell & Co and its holdings are now adminsitered by Warner/Chappell Music (or Unichappell Music).
