IMD

IMD specialized in cassettes with releases from the 1970s to 1990s. IMD was originally a Saudi Arabian cassette bootleg label. However, ownership changed and later releases were made in Lebanon, which were official cassette and CD releases of Lebanese artists.
Throughout the years, the cassette shells (honeycomb grid, etc), printed fonts and embossed logos appeared on releases in different design variations. Please check the image section (images now defunct) and this forum post for identification and confirmation. Cassettes themselves usually have variants with either white labels or direct body printing; these are to be entered as separate issues, using the free text field to distinguish if both variants appear in the database, and it is good practice to link the variants together using the page notes.

The label logo is very similar to the designs of MG Records (Poland), QP (2) (Saudi Arabia) and Stars (10) (Syria). The label Tel uses a similar inlay design to IMD and appears to have the same releases using the same catalogue numbers.

In general (but probably not inclusive):
Counterfeit releases mostly have catalog numbers like I-XXX, IMD-XXXX or IMD XXXX. See for example:
The Monkees - 20 Golden Greats
Perry Como - And I Love You So
Stevie Wonder - Songs In The Key Of Life

Releases with a catalog number containing "TC" are believed to be official releases. See for example:
Farid El Atrache, Farid El Atrache - فريد والعود والحبايب في سهرة خاصة = A Private Evening With Farid, His "Oud" And His Friends
Fairuz, Fairuz - فيروز = Fairuz
Ziad Rahbani, Bechara El-Khoury - Kyrie Eleison =
Wadih El Safi - يغني للبنان
