Just Another Asshole
Multimedia publication of downtown New York's No Wave music scene, started in 1978 by American artist Barbara Ess, producing seven numbers before it came to and end in 1987.
The first two issues were photocopied zines with duct-taped spines and titles scrawled in red nail polish. Issue 3 took form as an offset-printed folio, issue 4, as an insert in "Artforum" magazine. The next issue, #5, was the LP vinyl record Just Another Asshole; issue 6 appeared as a paperback fiction anthology, and the final issue, no. 7, a catalogue-like perfect-bound book titled "Thought Objects".
Issue 3 was co-edited with J. M. Sherry and issues 5 through 7 were co-edited with Glenn Branca.
