Free At Last
A promotional compilation series on cassette and compact disc with a focus on up-and-coming alternative/indie rock artists (and some hip hop and electronic). Created by PolyGram Canada, who involved Toronto alt rock radio station CFNY and retailer HMV. CFNY received a quantity of samplers for use in contest giveaways in return for on-air promotion, and HMV gave a sampler to any customer who purchased an album by one of the artists involved.
