Le Shop Paris (Label)

The biggest street-wear shop never seen before in the center of Paris, France (UE), during the second half of the 90’s. Le Shop Paris was a ‘pluricultural’ place and a very popular meeting point for clubbers, artists and happy-fews, with a record shop, a restaurant and a DJ scene, on which one we could hear in 1995 (for example), young dj's as Daft Punk, ivan smagghe, jérôme pacman, boombatcha, dan ghenacia, d’julz, Volta, franck roger, Turbozen, zend avesta, roussia, Sonic, Laura Palmer, and so many others who were playing each afternoon of the week. It was at the beginning of the years 2000’s, le shop paris and xavier barotin, his A&R and manager, have launched their own label and released their own compilations ‘Own Sound’ and ‘Free Ways’.
