CD Review
CD Review (formerly Digital Audio and Digital Audio & Compact Disc Review) was an American monthly music magazine published between September 1984 and May 1996 and headquartered in Peterborough, New Hampshire. It specialized in reviewing audio equipment and CD albums, printed in the heyday of the "digital audio" boom that followed the introduction and widespread market adoption of Compact Disc Digital Audio (CDDA) heavily promoted by major labels as the new, ultimate high-fidelity medium for home listening to replace supposedly inferior LPs. The magazine's founder, Wayne Green (1922—2013), was primarily known for publishing several early computer magazines, such as CQ, 80 Micro, Byte, Kilobaud Microcomputing, and InCider.
