45 RPM Catalog Number, Date and Label Identification:
5001 through 5003 (1957): Black label, with shadow ("drop shadow") of the letters "GONE" shown.
5004 through 5056 (1957–1959): Black label without drop shadow of the letters "GONE."
5057 and higher (1959 forward): Multi-color label.
Some copies of 5012 have the multi-color Gone logo (with the singer's head and open mouth in the letter "O") on black label stock. Others above 5057 occasionally are found on black.
