Target Records
1960s-1970s label from Appleton, Wisconsin, later moving to Neenah.
Owned and managed by Alan Posniak and James Kelly of the Golden Catalinas.
Later business members included lawyer Sidney "Sid" Sodos, booking/A&R manager Dan Liebhauser, and executive Don Mains. Target Records was originally meant to be a home to artists managed by Target Productions, while Tee Pee Records was in the business of releasing material by outside acts, though both labels eventually did both. Also released one single under the vanity imprint Baroque for The Baroques after Chess Records dropped the band.
