Adult Swim Records
Adult Swim Records was started in 1989 by Jeff Nelson, who is also the co-owner of Dischord Records. Jeff formed the label to release music that he liked but which would not sonically fit in with the Dischord roster or who were not located near Washington, DC (Dischord has a strict policy of only releasing material by bands located in or near the Washington, DC area).
