Dootone Records
This is the original name of Dootsie Williams' South Central Los Angeles-based Dooto Records label founded in 1951 and previously known as Blue Records, which was later changed to avoid a lawsuit by the similarly-named Duotone Records.

45 RPM Catalog Number, Date and Label Identification:
300 through 411 (1951–1957): Usually flat maroon labels, but may also be blue, black or glossy red. Yellow, glossy maroon and multi-colored labels are reissues.
466 through 471 (1961–1962): Red label with multi-color print.
1200 series: Red label.
Dootone, in early 1957, changed their name to Dooto, continuing with the same numbering series. 466 through 471 were on Dootone instead of Dooto.
