Shelly's Records

Shelly's Records was the namesake of Super Power Records co-founder and
UK Reggae label impresario "Count Shelly" Barrett which was launched in 1990
as a new subsidiary of Super Power, which incidentally, at that time, was slowly
downsizing their operation to the U.S.

The imprint -- which, in essence, was a vehicle for Count Shelly to tap into the
Dancehall market with his new and more recent productions --
lasted only for 2 years, ceasing activity in 1992.
