Pearce

1960s-1970s label from Independence, Missouri, owned by John Pearson (11).

Pearce was one of the in-house record labels associated with Cavern Studios (2) and Cavern Sound Corp.. Pearce had releases across a number of genres including pop, rock, folk, country, and soul. Pearce released a few full length albums, but primarily focused on 45s, with the Oklahoma City all-girl soul group The Trinikas being the most sought after. The first issue on Peace bares a Kansas City, Missouri address before moving to Cavern Studios in 1967.

The record labels Cave (12), Cavern Custom Recordings, and Cavern Records (3) share this same physical address and released a variety of genres of music from the midwest region.
