Global Records (Label)

Independent Romanian record label. Founded in 2008 as Global Music Management, which became a part of Global Records in 2012.

The history of Global Records starts in August 2008, when its CEO, Stefan Lucian, founded Global Music Management. Originally from the Romanian Black Sea Coast, it was only a matter of time until the company got international recognition through its first European top artist – INNA – and producers – Play&Win.

INNA’s popularity and the impact of her first single – “HOT” -, brought her the Platinum Record. In 2010, “HOT” was number 1 in the U.K. Dance Charts and it was then only a matter of time for the song “AMAZING” to go straight to number one in several territories, as well. 2011 came along with numerous awards and nominations, including ones at the MTV European Music Awards and the European Bordear Breakers Award for her international success, but also with a new album – “I Am the Club Rocker” and a world wide tour which included Mexico and the U.S.. In addition to this, in the summer of 2012, her “Club Rocker” single, featuring Flo Rida, reached the peak of the Japan Dance Charts in less than a week since its release.

In 2012, Global Music Management becomes just a part of the larger picture that is Global Records, an independent record label that comes along with the promise of something different. We are currently proud to say that our artists now include Antonia, Lucia, The Marker and producer Vlad Lucan.
