Red Bull Music Academy (Label)

Established in 1998, the Red Bull Music Academy is a yearly, world-travelling workshop event where aspiring musicians from all across the globe come together to swap musical experience and creative vision. The 60 participants get to listen to the so-called 'lecture sessions' where the pioneers of today's club sonics reveal hundreds of how-do-they-do-that's on the infamous Academy couch, play together in the best clubs and venues around town, and work together in the many recording studios set up for the occasion. Every year, some of the most memorable tunes are compiled on an exclusive double-CD called 'Various Assets' which is distributed worldwide through record stores, bars, and clothing boutiques.
